Woody is an Award-Winning professional with multiple years of production experience at the Broadcast Network level along with Syndication Programs and Independent Feature films. His knowledge and experience includes productions with either film or video formats and from an array of locations that include: Israel, Australia, Paris and Normandy, France, Hawaii, Alaska, that includes outstanding USA programming that includes Live concerts, Music Videos for MTV and BBC plus Network and Syndicated Sports Shows to Award Winning Documentaries.  He has functioned as Director/Producer that include camera configurations of Single-Camera to Multi-Camera productions both "live and recorded with crews of 150 or more and including demanding or unusual remote locations from the Talkeetna Mountain Ranges in Alaska, to the Sandy Deserts in Israel or the plush concert halls i.e. Carnegie Hall NYC, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia.

His production career began in Washington, DC as a production-assistant with WTOP-TV and CBS-News Network. In three short years climbed the ranks to occupy a seat as staff-director with a list of programming that included such well-known Broadcasts as Face the Nation, CBS Evening News, World News Roundup (Radio), The Ranger Hal Show (children's), Lyndon Johnson documentaries, The Washington Symphony Concerts, and more. During three of the 10 years with CBS, he also served double duty as the production-manager for all Studio and Location Remote programming in addition to directing his daily and weekly shows routines.

Following the Washington experience, he was transferred to CBS, Television City in Hollywood, where he became involved in more of the "entertainment" spectrum of the business.

In the early 80's Woody, along with two partners, formed the independent production company September Moon Production Network that produced more Award-Winning productions that included ESPN Sports, Detroit Lions Football, PGA Senior Golf Tour, The Saturn Movie, Hurricane Andrew Documentary, The World Cup Opening-Ceremonies-ABC Sports, The US-Arab Economic Summit and broadcast "live" by all major television networks including Sky Vision, Live concerts with LeAnn Rimes, Reba McIntyre sponsored by General Motors, The Olympic Soccer Opening Ceremonies 96' Atlanta-NBC Sports, and Syndicated programming of independent productions for MGM-UA with Marie Osmond, the weekly syndicated series with Dr. Tim LaHaye author of the Left Behind best-selling book series from Osmond Entertainment Provo, Utah and directed the Detroit-Windsor film-festival honoring America's Greatest Crime writer Elmore (Dutch) Leonard, the Stanley Cup Ceremonies for the Detroit Red Wings, "live" on the NHL Network and produced marketing and promotional campaigns for the American Indy Car Racing Series.

In 2005, Woody sold his interests in the production company and became involved in Feature-Film productions in Michigan with the introduction of the 2008 Feature Film incentives endorsed by the State Legislature. More recently, completed the independent film "Sucker" (starring Michael Manasseri from the hit TV series Weird Science) as the (UPM) Unit Production Manager, for Big Screen Michigan, a division of Big Screen Entertainment Group-Hollywood and distribution thru Warner Bros Entertainment. Also appeared as a featured extra with Clint Eastwood in Gran Tourino. Currently, is contracted for positions in three upcoming features to be lensed in Michigan the summer and fall of 2010.
